1801 – 1859 - Plan of Union with Presbyterians

1833 – Separation of church and state established in Massachusetts

1853 – American Congregational Association formed

1871 – National Council of Congregational Churches established

1913 – Kansas City Statement

1931 – Congregational Christian merger
