Massachusetts Bible Society – A resource for biblical literacy and scholarship.
American Congregational Association & Library – Preserving the history and religious literature of American congregationalism, the religious tradition out of which Old South sprung, and which contributed greatly to the formation of the United Church of Christ.
Service & Outreach
City Mission – Co-founded in 1816 by Old South and Park Street Church, City Mission works to promote a just society for all people by uniting communities and transforming individuals through service, education, and advocacy.
Greater Boston Interfaith Organization (GBIO) – A historic Old South partner, GBIO is a broad-based organization that works to coalesce, train, and organize the communities of Greater Boston across religious, racial, ethnic, class and neighborhood lines for the public good.
common cathedral – Offers social services to homeless persons in concert with spiritual companionship and community. Facilitates a weekly outdoor worship service on Boston Common geared toward those without homes.
The Women’s Lunch Place – Provides a safe and comfortable daytime refuge, nutritious food, and basic resources for women who are poor and homeless. The produce from our urban vegetable garden is donated to this organization.
