Concerts & Recitals at Old South

Old South Church is a popular venue for concerts, recitals, and other performances of all styles and sizes. Offering an unbeatable setting and wonderful acoustics, the church is pleased to host an eclectic mix of some of Boston’s finest amateur and professional arts and music organizations, as well as touring groups wishing to plan a Boston performance. The Main Sanctuary, Gordon Chapel, and Mary Norton Hall are available for concerts and performances, and offer an ample range of seating capacity.

A building use fee is charged, which supports the operating budget of the church. Among the organizations which have performed at Old South in recent years are Berklee College of Music, Boston Choral Ensemble, Chorus Pro Musica, the Handel & Haydn Society, Morehouse College Glee Club, and Symphony Nova.
