Minister of Music
Update as 6/1/2007:

May 1, 2007 - Due to medical reasons, Mark A. Anderson has tendered his resignation and will not be assuming Old South's Minister of Music position this summer as planned. Council has appointed an ad hoc committee to study our options on proceeding from this point.

May 14, 2007 -
The Ad Hoc Committee decides to extend Brian Jones' interim contract one last time until October 28 to buy us time to investigate and propose how to proceed. Best case scenario: we identify a candidate to begin in the fall. Next best case: we identify a candidate to begin after Christmas. Third best case: we identify a candidate to begin after Easter.

During the time afforded by Brian's willingness to extend his service through October we will: 1) hear from the
disbanded Minister of Music Search Committee, 2) pursue key allies in strategically located positions who might
recommend excellent, well-suited candidates, 3) determine the best process given the input we receive, 4) pray that God will provide.
