FEB. 7th. Church of the Nazarene, Dorchester - To a packed house of jubilant members of a broad-based community, co-chairs of the Greater Boston Interfaith Organization, Rev. Hurmon Hamilton and Rev. Jennifer Mills-Knutsen announced an unprecedented agreement for a business partnership for GBIO with Citizen's Bank. Representing 57 institutions in Boston, including religious congregations, community development corporations, unions, and other civic organizations, Rev. Hurmon Hamilton, Pastor of the Roxbury Presbyterian Church announced a major victory for a new business arrangement for GBIO with Citizen's Bank. Rev. Jennifer Mills-Knutsen of Old South Church in Back Bay outlined the outcome: "GBIO Premium" accounts, which allow all members of GBIO organizations Free Circle Checking - no monthly service fee or minimum balance for 3 years, Free circle design checks - orders and reorders, Free online banking and bill pay; no-fee debit card... Discounts of 6% on Commerce Auto Insurance, 15% Commerce Homeowner's Discount through Brewer & Lord Insurance Agency, .50 basis point rate increase on non-promotional rate CDs, access to Money Market accounts with $1,000 minimum balance, no fee, $250 rebate on Citizen's Bank Mortgage closing costs and ... a $500,000 grant for a GBIO financial literacy program. This will include
low interest loans to individuals for debt reduction. There will also be
