Trivia XIIby the Quizmeister | ![]() |
The Quizmeister lets a contestant break the "you only get to win once" rule this month
since the only response this month came from a previous Trivia Champion.
Rev. Robert Peters of Virginia correctly answered last month's question, to whit, "What's the inspiration for the funky stained-glass window featuring a head, eyes and wings that one finds over the front door of the church?" Our correspondent from the Old Dominion supplied the source: Revelations 4:8. There, John of Patmos describes "four living creatures, each of them with six wings, and full of eyes and all round and within, and day and night they never cease to sing, "Holy, holy, holy, is the Lord God Almighty, who was and is and is to come!'" An appropriate sentiment to be proclaimed above the entryway to our church.
Now, on to Trivia XII. This one's a real "gimme".
There are three grave markers at Old South. Who are the deceased?
A special prize will be awarded to the first person to submit the correct answer. Previous winners are asked to allow others a chance. Submit answers to the Church Narthex (Publications Box) or to Quizmeister
