Parents Night Out

Can't remember the last time you had a date night? Old South Church believes that strong relationships make for strong families - and we offer a monthly Parents Night Out that is open to the community. Children (age 6 months to students in 5th grade) are cared for by vetted Children's Ministries staff and volunteers, while parents nurture their adult relationships around Back Bay or Copley Square. When you plan date night around Parents Night Out - you always have a sitter!

Cost Per Month

Under 3yo Surcharge $15 each*
First Child = $25
Two Children = $40
Three Children = $50
Additional children = $10 each for 4th child and onwards
*We can accommodate 5-6 infants/toddlers each month. The child to teacher ratio with this age is 3:1, therefore we need to charge a little bit more for children under age 3 in order to make ends meet.

Logistics

One Friday every month, Parents Night Out (PNO) meets from 6 pm - 10 pm. Registered families will gain passage into the elevator lobby via our Front Desk Receptionist. Please meet us on the third floor.

Parents are asked to sign their children in and out each night, and to bring a sack dinner for your children. Drop-off begins at 5:50 pm, and parents may pick-up early if desired. All children must be signed out by 10 pm.

A Word About Safety

We take the responsibility of caring for your most precious loved ones seriously. All caregivers, staff or volunteer, will have passed a CORI check and been trained in the safety and discipline guidelines we ascribe to at Old South Church. We maintain safe adult:child ratios lower than state recommendations and work to keep our program fun, informative, and consistent.

Register

To secure your children’s spots, return a PNO registration form and payment to Old South Church. Each child must have a 2019-2020 child information form on file before PNO. Spots are limited; registration ends the Monday before PNO Friday. For more information, contact Kate Nintcheu, Director of Children & Family Ministries, at children@oldsouth.org.
