Old South Church remembers April 15th anniversary with Service of Resiliency, bell ringing

On April 15, 2015, on the first annual One Boston Day, Old South Church, The Church of the Finish Line, held a gentle Service of Resiliency in partnership with The Massachusetts Resiliency Center to commemorate the second anniversary of the Marathon tragedies. During the service, at 2:49 pm, church member and survivor Tom rang our Great Tower Bell during the statewide moment of silence.

Old South Church is located 100 feet from the Marathon finish line and since April 2013 has ministered to survivors and first responders including many in our own congregation.
