Rev. James M. Harrison Jr. is an experienced and passionate wedding officiant known for creating meaningful, personalized ceremonies that reflect each couple’s unique story. In 2021, he founded his own wedding officiant service and has since officiated weddings across the United States and internationally. His work has also been featured on the nationally syndicated television show Married at First Sight.
Rev. Harrison currently serves as the Senior Pastor of Southern Baptist Church in Roxbury, Massachusetts, where he has led the historic congregation since 2016. A lifelong minister of the Gospel, he felt called to preach at an early age and has spent his life serving others through ministry, counseling, and spiritual care.
In addition to his pastoral work, Rev. Harrison serves as the staff chaplain at the Sherrill House in Jamaica Plain and provides spiritual services for Serenity Hospice, offering comfort and guidance to individuals and families during life’s most meaningful moments.
With decades of ministry experience and a deep commitment to faith, compassion, and excellence, Rev. Harrison brings warmth, professionalism, and spiritual depth to every ceremony he officiates.
