Ken Orth leads Healing Worship at Old South on the second Sunday of each month at 10AM. Gathering in groups to pray and listen for God’s presence has been a part of Ken’s journey at Old South since he joined in 1991. He feels very privileged to also offer pastoral psychotherapy and spiritual direction as part of his affiliation on the staff at the First Congregational Church (UCC) of Winchester, MA. His ordination in the UCC in 1976 and his joining the American Association of Pastoral Counselors in 1980 have been part of the life-long journey to which God had called him when growing up on a farm in South Dakota. That journey toward the realization of the inclusive, healing love of God for all people continues and is a central part of our Healing Worship experience.
Ken was joyfully married to his life-partner, George Paolucci, at Old South in 2005. They have now shared 35 years of life together, with God offering new surprises of grace, healing, and love at every turn. Gratefulness abounds! Ken loves poetry, comedy, singing, exercise, and exploring new places with George.
